Practice doing and asking for the
right things
as JESUS perfects our supernatural
nature.
“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who
believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also;
and greater
works that these he will do, because I go to My Father.
And whatsoever
you ask in My name, that I will do,
that the Father
may be glorified in the Son.”
JOHN 14:12-13 (NKJ)
One
day I was speaking with my
mother who was suffering with diabetes. She asked me to be in prayer
with her concerning her legs. I agreed. She told me she needed
strength in her legs because she could hardly walk; sometimes it was
difficult for her to even stand. I asked her if she was doing the
exercises the doctor had prescribed; leg lifts in bed. “Ah, no,” was
her reply.
Many times we want God, Jesus, or our Holy Family to do for us what
we can do for ourselves and must learn to do. God will not breathe
for us, or walk for us, or exercise for us. Because of this premise,
some people incorrectly believe that they should not talk to Jesus
about any and everything—that is not true. Take every intricate
detail of your life to Jesus; this will ensure your physical,
emotional, and spiritual healing. (Psalm 32:5; James 5:16; 1 John
1:9)
If you have a problem and you know the solution; then exercise the
solution, do the solution. Do not procrastinate. If we know we are
overweight, do not eat ice cream before bed. Eat better foods and
get someone to motivate you to do better. If you know it takes
longer to learn a subject, do not wait to the last minute to study
for the exam. Study well in advance of the test—and get help in the
subject before the exam.
My son told me I needed rest and that he was praying for God to give
me rest. I told him not to pray for something which I can do for
myself. “Pray for God to do something supernatural in my
life—something that I cannot do—something supernatural that I do not
know how to do, but something God or His Holy Family can do. Since
he was so adamant about me getting rest I put it on my schedule.
So in your prayers and in your life, do what you know to do. Do what
you can do and expect God to do the supernatural through His Son,
our Brother, our Messiah, our Savior, Christ Jesus until you learn
how to do the supernatural. May Christ Jesus do something
supernatural in your life today and everyday! Today and everyday,
may you do what is right in the eyes of the LORD and learn to do the
supernatural! Selah!

Our Creator knows everything about
us! He who knows you,
has chosen a pathway that you should follow.
“Turn to me and be gracious to me, for I am lonely and afflicted.
The troubles of my heart have
multiplied; free me from my anguish.
Look upon my affliction and my
distress and take away all my sins.”
PSALMS 25: 16-18 (NIV)
The
Psalmist David’s real enemy
was the devil who was using fellow human beings to get to David, to
attack him. It is the same today. The devil uses and abuses people
who give place to him. Many older people and young people are
walking the streets aimlessly, sometimes sitting by the roadside
watching passers-by, having seemingly no hope. Our enemy the devil
is subtle, and if you give place to him, you will find yourself in
confusion; quarreling with a family member, with a neighbor, or a
friend of yours, or fooling around with someone of the opposite sex.
If you find yourself doing things that do not benefit you nor bring
blessings into your very own life, and you are seeking someone
else’s hurt or harm, you must understand that the devil is after
you, to ruin your life! There is hope for you -- in GOD.
David made the right choice when he turned to GOD in response to his
attackers (people whom the devil used). He took his troubles and
distress to the Lord. He talked to God, telling Him about his
feelings... “I am lonely and afflicted. The troubles of my heart
have multiplied. Free me from my anguish. Take away all my sins.”
(Psalms 25:16-18) God answered! He heard the psalmist’s prayer.
You may be someone who has been hurt by others. There is hope for
you, as you tell God about your hurt, and troubles, change will
come. God has a chosen pathway for you. Turn to Him, and begin anew.
Follow God’s leading. Read the Bible, God’s Word. Get involved in
the work of the Lord. Attend a Bible believing church and have
fellowship with other believers. God is loving and faithful and He
is for anyone and everyone who will believe and trust Him.
May God bless you and help you to find His chosen pathway for your
life, and may you be used of God and be a blessing to others, as you
seek Him daily. If you do not know God in a personal way, then ask
Jesus to forgive you of your sins, and talk to Him about your
feelings, and hope. Finally, ask Him to cleanse you and transform
your life. God bless you now, in Jesus Name.

Walk in the good works of Christ who
lives in you.
“Yet, O LORD, you are our Father, we are the clay,
you are the potter; we are all the
work of your hand.”
ISAIAH 64:8 (NIV)
You
are God’s product.
Dearly
beloved, Grace to you! God made you good. Yes, good. “But the pot
he was shaping from the clay was marred in his hands; so the potter
shaped it into another pot, shaping it as seemed best to him.”
Jeremiah 18:4 (NIV) The devil marred you, but God has remade you
in Christ and you are good. It is no longer you, it is Christ in
you. “…Christ in you, the hope of glory.” Colossians 1:27
(NIV) All that Christ is, you are. Christ is good, so you are good,
real good. Christ is a success, so you are a success. You are a
champion created in Christ onto good works and great success.
“But if Christ is in you, your body is dead because of sin, yet
your spirit is alive because of righteousness.” Romans 8:10
(NIV) You must choose to walk in this good works and success this
year. To do this you have to make a deliberate decision not to
listen to the lies of the devil. Listen rather to the truth of God’s
word. Get hooked up with God your maker and He will make available
for you the wisdom you need to make the best out of this year. I
sincerely wish you well.
For me, my choice is obvious. I chose to move. Yes, I’m moving
straight into my harvest. My place is at the top and I hope to see
you there. Together we are going to display the beauty and glory of
our God. We will drive the people of this world mad in envy till
they seek our God – our Source. Welcome to the year 2006 and more
grace to you!
God bless this year, a year of glory, abundance, and unending
laughter. The Lord said, “…Then I will
command my blessing upon you in the sixth year…” - Leviticus

Take your problem, challenge, issue,
or whatever the need,
thanks, joy, love is—take it to
JESUS and let it go through JESUS.
“In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your
paths.”
PROVERB 1:3 (NKJ)
THROUGH
GOD not just TO GOD. Many of
us have learned to take our issues to Jesus or God. We may have
heard the phrase: “Take it to Jesus.” We go down to the altar and
leave our troubles there. That is taking it to Jesus. This is only
step one in the process—in fact the process should be called: “Take
it through Jesus.” Taking it to Jesus, empowers Jesus who is already
empowered. Taking it through Jesus, empowers us.
How so? Good question. Taking it through Jesus implies there will be
a response from Jesus which you have to deal with; and in so doing,
you will be empowered. It similar to taking an idea to your boss and
having him/her give you feedback. When you take something through
Jesus, you look for feedback which you act on. Taking it to Jesus
implies that Jesus is going to do it. Taking it through Jesus
empowers you by:
1) You having the FAITH to know Jesus, the Holy Spirit,
or Angels are going to communicate back to you on your issue,
2) You will be given or you will realize that you have
the ABILITY to carry out the directive, and
3) When you complete the task, you receive satisfaction,
completion, as you move up to the next rung on your spiritual
ladder; SPIRITUAL GROWTH.
“Pray always” means talk to the LORD about everything—He wants to
know you intimately. (He already does, but He wants you to know HIM
intimately.) He wants us to trust Him enough to tell Him our every
nasty, little secret. (He hears all and sees all anyway.) Here is a
hint: He already knows every itsy- bitsy thing about us. Confession
is good for the soul. Take your everything to Jesus and through
Jesus; and He shall reward you with a rich, personal relationship
with Him and His Holy Family! Amen!

In temporary situations, do not make
permanent decisions.
“Then God said: ‘Let us make man in our image, after our
likeness. Let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over
the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth,
and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.’ So God
created man in his own image; in the image of God created he him;
male and female he created them.”
GENESIS 1:26-28 (KJV)
Living the Life of
Dominion. In the life of dominion,
relationship is very crucial. Dominion is the ability to do, act, or
produce. It is a specific ability. It is the ability to control
others. It is the rate at which work is done. Every man is created
for a purpose and equipped for that purpose. Every problem in life
is the problem of relationship. God is a god of purpose.
Relationship is God’s secret for every dominion. It is not adequate
for a man to be alone. Every woman has a prophetic plan for her man.
The plan is to complete the man.
In that relationship, you don't look for perfection, but potential.
In relationship, it is what you talk to that will respond back to
you. If you talk negative to your relationship, you will receive
negative response. Because any man is capable of becoming anything,
depending on what you talk to them about. If you want to be loved,
talk love. If you want to be understood, talk understanding.
Sometimes, when there are tests and challenges in relationship, you
prefer other relationships rather than the present one. Why? Because
those that you preferred haven’t struggled with you, and don’t know
your real self. In the quest for dominion, you don’t make permanent
decisions in a temporary problem. For this light affliction is just
for a moment, for they will work good for us. (2 Corinthians
4:17-18) Conflict doesn't break relationships, but refusal to
mend conflict brings problems. For what good is a problem, if there
is no solution? For what good is an affliction, when there is no
cure? Great men don’t look for personal satisfaction, but dis-satisfaction.
The foundation in a life of dominion, is love. Love doesn’t focus on
weaknesses. Love is a deliberate, conscious choice. Love is
constant. Love is not conclusive. It is perpetual. Love is a
decision. Anything that does not conqueror love, will never
conqueror God. For God is love. Until we can love our loveable, we
can never be loved. I pray that the Lord will open your
understanding while you read this daily devotional.
Lord Christ Jesus, please
forgive us of our sins. We give thanks to You in
all things! Thank you for allowing us to see our
relationships as they truly are. Let us know
that we have the power to change our situations
in Your name. Let it be so right now in Your
name , Jesus. Selah!

“I am the true
vine, and My Father is the vinedresser.
Every branch in Me that
does not bear fruit He takes away;
and every
branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit.”
JOHN 15:1-2 (NKJ)
Jesus
is the true vine. (John
15:1-5) If Jesus is the true vine, then we are the branches.
Just as the branch cannot live unless it is attached on the tree, so
a Christian cannot live unless Christ’s Holy spirit flows into
him/her. No matter how big the fish, if it’s outside the water, it
dies because it cannot do without water. And we cannot do without
God.
Without Christ, we soon die spiritually, if we do not bear fruit.
Not having fruit is a sign that Christ’s Spirit is not in us. So a
fruitless branch God will cut away, because a branch without fruit
is useless to God. Some branches He prunes, so that they have the
ability to bear much fruit.
Punning time is very difficult, because that is when God cuts away
the bad twigs–that is our bad habits and sins. It is painful, but we
must position ourselves to be pruned. God leads Christians through
difficult experiences in order to trim us. In order to bear fruit,
we must remain in Christ. If we do not remain in Christ, we cannot
bear fruit. In John 15:5, Jesus said, “…
for without Me you can do nothing;” which means we cannot
do any work apart from Christ. Paul said, “I can do all things
through Christ who strengthens me.” Philippians 4:13 (NKJ)
Let us not forget what happens to the
branches that separate from the vine. They die and are thrown into
the fire. Children of God, let us not allow anything to disrupt our
union with Christ. He will remain in you, you will bear fruit, and
God will be glorified.
GOD BLESS YOU

Watch out for the attacks of division,
differences, and deception.
“And Jesus answered and said unto them,
Take heed that
no man deceive you.”
MATTHEW 24:4 (KJV)
“Let no man deceive you with vain words:
for because of these things cometh
the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.”
EPHESIANS 5:6 (KJV)
The
D’s – 2. In “The D’s – 1,” I
told you about distraction, decoy, diversion, and delay. Here are
other “D’s” of which to be aware, and for which to look. They are
avid attackers of Christians. They can be relentless and they
“tag-team,” work together in tandem. One will come, then the other,
while the other is there or just after the other has left; one or
two or three at a time. Be aware of them.
1) DIVISION (defragment, break apart). If there is any
hierarchy in the level which “D’s” attack the most effectively,
“Distraction” will be number two and “Division” will be number
one. The number one military tactic is “divide and conquer.” It
has been this way for a millennium; both in the natural and the
supernatural. The way to overtake a group of people is to divide
them. The way to overtake a person is to divide their heart.
Once the heart is divided, the mind follows. The mind/brain
brings the entire body into submission. The enemies of man and
God’s Holy Family seek to divide us any and every way: color,
race, religion, east, west, north, south, dark, light, physical
features, speech, economic status, and using everything which
can be discussed and argued to be a difference.
2) DIFFERENT (differences, not the same, unlike) The
enemies of God and man almost always prostitutes the goodness
and magnificent nature of God, and God’s nature in man to take
advantage of us and any of God’s creation. In essence, the
enemies of God uses us against ourselves. Any difference is
exploited. Every tool is used to make our differences stand out
and to get us to think the differences of others are bad,
distasteful, negative, wrong, ungodly, without thinking that God
is the author of the differences of us all. He made us
different, wants us to be different, and expects us to be
different than one another. Our difference makes us special,
unique, and in the image of God.
3) DECEPTION (deceive, half-truth, lies, innuendo)
“Deception” is the set-up man for “Division.” The half-truths
and lies set people up to be divided in their thinking and in
their action. Hear-say, they-say, “Let me tell you what I
heard,” gossip, and straight out lies take people down the road
to division. Deception often looks like, feels like, and sounds
like the truth. More often than not it has wrapped itself around
some truth. So when we hear the lie, we believe it because the
truth comes before it and after it. The deception, the
half-truth, the lie is often sandwiched in the truth.
Not knowing the Word of Truth, studying your Word, and following the
example of Christ Jesus can lead us to a place of destruction by our
following the “D’s.” We are armies in a supernatural battle and
should/must live, think, and act as such, so we can be victorious in
our everyday living. The “D’s” work together, not in unison, but
with the same purpose: the destruction of God’s Kingdom on earth and
in you, your family and your community.

Be planted in the Lord.
“Blessed is the man who trusts in
the LORD, and whose hope is the LORD. For he shall be like a tree
planted by the waters, which spreads out its roots by the river, and
will not fear when heat comes, but its leaf will be green, and will
not be anxious in the year of drought, nor will cease from yielding
fruit.”
JEREMIAH 17:7-8 (NKJ)
Today
I will talk about growth. You
see in this verse that the word likens those who trust in the Lord
like a tree planted by the waters. Notice the verse talks about the
roots of the tree, some Bible versions say “whose roots go down
deep.” Most of us know that a tree has two places where it can
receive it’s sustenance. One is through the leaves; the other is
through the root system. One is outward and is visible (leaves); the
other is not visible (roots). This verse is talking about the tree
receiving it’s sustenance from it’s root system which goes down into
the waters of the stream, which is the Lord.
Jesus spoke about plants in the parable of the sower in Matthew
13:5 (KJV). He said. “Some
(seed) fell on rocky places, where it did
not have much soil. It sprang up quickly, because the soil was
shallow. But when the sun came up, the plants were scorched, and
they withered because they had no root.” Notice this
verse talks about the roots of the plant again.
Now when you look at a plant you usually can’t see the root system
at all. It is hidden. Just like a Christian. Often you can’t see the
depth at times, of their inward growth. Jesus is saying that a
Christian’s inward growth in their spirit with the Lord has to be
greater than their outward growth, which can be seen. The verse in
Jeremiah is talking about Christians needing to come to a place
where God is their source and supply, where they no longer need to
depend upon outward sustenance from other people, from churches,
from things and circumstances around them. The reason for this is
simple; those outward things that help us at times are sometimes
unreliable. It isn’t always possible to have favorable
circumstances. It isn’t always possible to have other Christians to
“pray through” things with us. But it is always possible for
Christians to seek and receive their help and encouragement and
supply from God. And in times of drought, in times of pestilence,
the tree (you and I) can receive everything it needs from its root
system, which goes down deep to God.
In Summary. Spend time developing the unseen relationship you have
with the Lord, spend time learning how to receive from Him in the
“prayer closet.” Learn to let Him be your source and supply. Develop
your root system, so that when the outward supplies of what you need
become scarce, you can receive all that you need from the inward
relationship you have developed with Jesus.

“And from the days of John the Baptist
until now
the kingdom of
heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force.”
MATTHEW 11:12 (NKJ)
“If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.”
GALATIANS 5:26 (NKJ)
Peace,
love, gentleness. These are a
few of the fruits of the Spirit. (Galatians 5:22-23) We often
understand the emotions and actions of hate, injustice, envy, fear,
anger, and their brothers and sisters as forces which have power. We
generally give lip service (only talk about) the power that “true”
love exhibits and yields. There is true power in love of every kind;
there is supernatural power in “true” love. God is love. (1 John
4:8)
The kingdoms of this world have to be taken by force, not the forces
of death and destruction (that is Old Testament Christianity, if you
understand me). The kingdoms of this world have to be taken by the
New Testament forces of love, peace, joy, understanding, meekness,
and their family of positive non-destructive energies. Understand
that there is supernatural power in joy, love, peace, tolerance,
unity, sharing, caring, friendship, and their cousins. These are
only some of the attributes of God, Christ, and Jesus. These are the
forces, the powers, the energies we as true Christians must use to
conquer the evil kingdoms, systems, associations, and networks of
this world. To use other energies, methods, characters, or fruits
which are not represented in the fruits of the Spirit family
(Galatians 5:22-23) or not in the character or attributes of
Christ Jesus allows us to know those other methods, steps, or
procedures are not of our GOD or His Son, our Savior, JESUS. They
are from the enemies of GOD; the enemies of mankind.
Jesus is our example and He used force; but not the force
represented by evil, man, or anything in between. Mother Teresa, Dr.
Martin Luther King, and Gandhi are only a few examples of what
happens when the true force of applying the fruits of the Spirit is
lived out in our lives. “…Against such there is no law.”
Galatians 5:23 Follow the example of JESUS, so the Kingdom of
Heaven can be ours today. Apply the force of CHRIST in your life
today!

He is faithful, just, and is

“When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one
place. Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from
heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. They saw
what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on
each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began
to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.”
ACTS 2:1-4 (NIV)
Waiting
on the Lord in prayer. We
must learn to wait on the Lord in prayer irrespective of what is
going on in our lives. Whether good times or bad times, we wait in
prayer. The 120 apostles waited for 10 days for the promise to
happen. Jesus told them to wait in Jerusalem for the Holy Spirit
before you do anything. “Do not leave
Jerusalem, but wait for the gift my Father promised, which you have
heard me speak about. For John baptized with water, but in a few
days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.” Acts 1:4-5
(NIV)
They waited the first day nothing happened, two days—nothing, three
days—nothing happened, four days and it goes up to the ninth day.
Nothing happened. If they had given up, they would have missed their
blessing. Because on the tenth day things happened. I mean 3,000
gave their lives to Jesus that day. Pray, but after prayer, wait
upon Him. The Bible says those who wait upon the Lord will regain
the strength. So you must wait. “But they that wait upon the LORD
shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as
eagles; they shall run, and not be weary, and they shall
walk, and not faint.” Isaiah 40:31 (KJV)
Three things to consider in prayer:
God ordained in prayer that His
Will, His Needs must first be met; His Kingdom, His Name.
(Matthew 6:9-13; 1 John 5:14-15)
Only God knows our needs. When choosing a wife or a husband,
only God knows who will sustain you. You may be crazy for
her or him, but God knows who and what is best for you.
Everything works together for good. (Romans 8:28)
Prayer is a dialogue; not monologue. Unless people spend
time together, they are not going to know each other. Don’t
just throw words at God and wait for His response. Prayer is
a conversation, not only requests. (Genesis 2:18, 1 Kings
22:20, Matthew 3:17, John 12:28)
May the Lord bless you and help you to wait for Him in prayer, even
if He seems to delay, He is faithful and just to answer our prayers.
Amen! WAITING IN PRAYER

“The seventy-two returned with joy and said, ‘Lord, even the
demons submit to us in your name.’ He replied, ‘I
saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. I have given you
authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the
power of the enemy; nothing will harm you. However, do not rejoice
that the spirits submit to you, but rejoice that your names are

LUKE 10:17-21 (NIV)
Joy in Heaven!
The Christian life is warfare; every professed Christian believer is
a soldier. We are not saved to have a very good time; we are saved
to follow the Lord, to take up the cross and to fight against the
enemies of our souls and the enemies of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
“Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life
to which you were called when you made your good confession in the
presence of many witnesses.” 2 Timothy 6:12 (NIV) The fight is
not to victory, but for victory. We are victorious Christians. We
are saved to save others. We are Christian to make other Christians.
We are born again to win others for the kingdom of God. We are God’s
children to bring others into God's family. We are in the church to
church the unchurched. We are sanctified to show others the way of
holiness.
After all, there is no soul winning in the church. It’s sad to hear
that the churches in Europe are losing Christians in a large
numbers. It’s sad that there is little or no excitement or
enthusiasm in many churches to win souls for Christ. Though large
crowds were flocking to hear Jesus and to be healed by Him, He never
lost touch with individuals and their needs. He was not too busy for
a Nicodemus or Zacchaeus. He was more concerned about the one lost
sheep, than the ninety-nine safe ones. (Luke 15:4)
Every Christian must be a personal soul winner in all his/her life.
Anytime is “soul winning” time. If each one of us reach out to just
one other person, then the whole world will know Christ. And there
will be Joy in Heaven over a sinner who repents. “I
tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven
over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons
who do no need to repent.” Luke 15:7 (NIV) May God give
us Grace to preach Him to the unpreached and unreached. Amen!
Lord Jesus, in
Your name, I ask that You open the spiritual
eyes of the readers of this prayer, not only
their eyes, but their spiritual minds, and
hearts, so they can have and act on their desire
to move into Your Perfect Will for their lives
and the lives they touch. Right now Lord Jesus!

equate to your level of godliness,
spirituality, or righteousness.
“Jesus said to him,
'If you want to
be perfect, go, sell what you have and give to the poor,
and you will
have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me.'
Then Jesus said to His disciples,
‘Assuredly, I
say to you that it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of
heaven.’ ”
MATTHEW 19:21, 23 (NKJ)
The
other day someone said to me,
“The Lord is really blessing them—they got a big house and a big,
fine car.” The first thing I thought was, “People are really
confused.” They equate wealth and financial riches as blessings from
the Lord… “…supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw
thyself.” 1 Timothy 6:5 (KJV) The Holy Spirit brought to my
remembrance that one of the first temptations of Jesus was economic,
social, and political power; riches, glory, material gain. (Luke
3:5-8)
I know that historically, people with finances, social standing, and
political connections have scribes or can afford to have their lives
documented in writing. We see this in the form of historical
writings, manuscripts, and books. The Holy Spirit spoke to my mind:
“The patriarchs of old were men and women with money and power or
associated with such.” And I thought about Abraham, Moses, Ruth,
David, Esther, and Solomon. The question is: How many wealthy people
can you name from the Old Testament? How many New Testament wealthy
people can you name? Joseph of Arimathea. (Luke 23:51)
Nicodemus. (John 3:1-21) Jesus. (Matthew 13:55) I used
to think Jesus was rich until my deliverance and my illumination by
God’s Holy Family. Now, I understand that Jesus gave away everything
of substance, but for what was necessary for His ministry and His
rest. (Luke 8:3) Not only did He know He had a short
timetable, but His example is not only giving your everything for
the Lord, but your life also. (Matthew 10:39) An example of
letting go of your stuff is that of the young rich ruler.
(Matthew 19:16-24)
The evil rich in the New Testament were Pharisees, Sadducees, other
religious folk in power, the Herods, Pilate, and people in the
political “in-crowd.” The rich are prominent in the Old Testament,
but not in the New Testament. Listen to this. What stands between
the Old Testament and the New Testament? Four hundred years of
SILENCE, whereby God did not talk to the prophets or His people.
Silence, among other reasons, because people could not properly
handle money, riches, power, or glory responsibly. Solomon, the
wisest, wealthiest man ever to live, took Israel onto the path of
divided hearts which led to divided kingdoms overrun by evil priests
(religious leaders) and evil kings (political leaders). This lead
God’s chosen people into captivity and diaspora.
Beware of riches and glory! Beware of material gain supposing it to
be an example of living the right way and doing the right things in
the eyes of the LORD. Be aware of the temptations, which lie in the
house of prosperity.

PSALM 40:10 (KJV)
Most
Beloved in Christ, I greet
you in the wonderful name of Jesus. God has privileged me to be in
touch with you. Thank you very much for your prayers you extend to
us as we believe in your heartfelt nature and your helping hands for
poor people. Only by faith in God am I running this orphanage and
offerings to the local peoples. Sometimes our orphan children are
sleeping with empty bellies. By God’s grace here our orphan children
are doing well.
Last week we conducted VBS (Vocational Bible School) for our
orphanage children. During this period, they have gone through and
gotten acquainted with a number of chapters and scriptures in the
Bible. I believe if they learn many scriptures, they will grow in
the ability to walk in the light of the Word of God. King David says
the same in Psalm 119:1, “Blessed are the undefiled in the way,
who walk in the law of the LORD!” (NKJ)
But the desperate situation I face makes me many times doubtful of
achieving my goals. For want of regular monthly support, I am not
able to feed the children properly, even one mealtime a day. I
hardly make food available for the poor innocent kids. The scorching
hunger makes them greedy. So they immediately rush forward to eat
whatever filthy thing they find on the way.
Consequently, they are sick which leads them to the doctor. The
doctor to whom I am not able to pay bills for properly. So the kids
always seem to be sick and gloomy. It is really a disgrace on our
part as God’s servants; at the same time there are terrible
criticisms from people for the condition of the orphan children.
When these orphans find any people eating food, they look at them
greedily, and the people frown at them. It is really a very pathetic
condition. Sometimes people beat them and drive them away. I have
also become very much resented, but I am helpless.
I simply shed tears to pray to God to open a way for them. I have my
own freedom to send them away. But what happens if I do so? Some may
die of starvation and some others become professional beggars, some
thieves, and so on. As you, I will be accountable to God over all.
I love them very much and they love me too. I cannot forsake them at
any time. I love to sit and eat with them. I eat if they eat and I
sleep if they sleep, and probably, I shed tears when they weep. How
can I for sake them? I share these things with you to make you
understand our exact position is. I pray you have mercy for these
parent-less kids. Unless you have your kind involvement it is really
very difficult to look after them properly. Please have kind
consideration for my plea and extend your esteemed help so that I
can feed them and lead them in the way they should walk. I have
already shared this with the orphan and they have been praying in
tears for the support. I have assured them of the best to happen.
They are sending their hugs and kisses to you.

The distance between you and your
destiny is between your eyes.
“Hide Your face from my sins, and blot out all my iniquities.
Create in me a clean heart, O God,
and renew a steadfast spirit within me.”
PSALM 51:9-10 (NKJ)
Positioning
your life.(Matthew
25:14-18) In life, every one does not start from the same level;
we are given more or less to work with. There are people who started
high, but amounted low. While there are other people who started
low, but amounted very high. Our position in life is not determined
by what we received initially in life. Great leaders are ordinary
people who do/did extraordinary things, because circumstances made
demands on their potential. Your speed in life is determined by what
is chasing you. Great leaders make despised things, be attractive.
The great leaders of history were people just like us; like you and
I. They were people who came from humble backgrounds. People who
faced the greatest challenges of life, but were able to convert
their challenges into victory. David was conceived by a sinful
nature. “Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, and in sin my
mother conceived me.” Psalm 51:5 His process of birth shows his
identity in the family. He was even left out when it came to the
family blessings. (1 Samuel 16:6-12) But he rejected his
rejection and said, the lord is my shepherd. (Psalm 23)
Life is trading. In life, whatever you don’t like, you can exchange
it. Every man’s life has assets and liabilities. Assets are those
things that you need in your life to enhance its purpose. It does
not matter the quantity you may have. It may be very small, but your
ability to let go of your liabilities will certainly give you, give
you actual worth in life. Your liabilities may be impatience,
wickedness, anger, deceit; and you can just name it, you know what
it is. But you can exchange your weakness, for strength. Real
leaders have nothing but themselves to work with. They accept their
beginning and use their potential and their creative nature, which
God has given them. Eventually, they overcome their weaknesses and
liabilities. Gideon was a coward who understood the purpose of life
and became a household figure. (Judges 6) “…The race is
not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, nor bread to the
wise, nor riches to men of understanding, nor favor to men of skill,
but time and chance happen to them all.” Ecclesiastes 9:11 (NKJ)
It does not matter where your position may be now. You can still
become what God intended you to be. Jeremiah 1:5, provide you
with understanding that the end determines the mean.
Stop despising yourself, for you can never become more than what you
think. For as a man thinketh so he is. (Proverb 23:7) For you
can only possess what you can see. The distance between you and your
destiny is your eyes. I pray that you will understand that God has
given us everything we have now for a purpose. It does matter the
quantity; we can still do much. The Lord bless you as you read this
devotion and I pray that it will shift your thinking to be positive.
Christ Jesus, I ask
in Your name, Emmanuel, that a large number of
Angels move with the reader to protect them for
the evil ones, to guide them along Your path of
righteousness, and prepare their paths for Your
success in their lives, and the lives their
lives touch. I thank You Jesus and Father God.
Please let it happen from now until forevermore.

Christ in us is the hope for the
world.
Live and move in the Spirit of
Christ.
“For all the promises of God in Him are Yes,
and in Him Amen, to the glory of God
through us.”
2 Corinthians 1:20 (NKJ)
People
often say, “They made
me so angry.” “She makes me happy.” “I am so jealous of her.” “I
just hate that.” “He makes me sick.” “I just love the way they do
that, say that, or be that.” Listen to the words which we have
coming out of our mouths. Words are powerful. Words are seeds that
we plant into others and into our selves, into our world; creating
the world in which we exist. There are three very powerful
implications to expressions like the ones above.
1) The first implication is
that someone has power over you; enough power to control your
very emotions. Enough power to make you go from being happy to
sad – from angry to smiling – from being at peace, to being
twisted up in frustration, stress, pain, suffering, or any
degree of negative energy. The person, the outside force is
exhibiting, exerting, utilizing effective POWER OVER YOU.
Take your power back.
2) The second implication is
that you have empowered someone else to be in control, in power
over you. You have RELINQUISHED POWER OVER YOURSELF and
given it to someone else. You have given the control of your
God-given powers, your control of your “self” to someone else.
They dictate to you your world. How you are to respond to
situations, words, and inevitably your environment. They may not
know that you are their puppet on their strings. If they know
which button to push to make you angry, happy, sad, or make your
behavior change, then they know they have some control over you.
And that is a bad thing. And that is only because you have
allowed it to be so. Take control.
3) We are made in God’s own
image and likeness. (Genesis 1:26-27) The POWER OF GOD
IS IN US. (1 John 4:12) The Power of Christ is in us
as Sons and Daughters of Jehovah-God, God Almighty.
(Colossians 1:27, Galatians 2:20) You are allowing your
God-like characteristic to be prostituted by errant children of
God, the unsaved children of God, or the enemies of God and man.
Make an effort not to allow God’s Power in you, in us, in our
lives, to be abused, misused, or misaligned to harm us, place us
in harm’s way, or allow us to live, feel, act, or exist in any
negative emotional, psychological, physical, or spiritual
energy.
Daryl Coley is correct when he sings, “We have a character of
omnipotence in us.” We as children of God, as sisters and brothers
to our Saviour, our Messiah, Jesus Christ, we have the Power of
Christ in us. We must use it; not abuse it. We must not allow others
to abuse the Power of Christ in us. You choose to think, believe,
feel, and act the way you do. You have control over you, your
thoughts, your emotions, feelings, and actions.

Looking past and ignoring the pain
and suffering of the world’s children, does not stop it.
“And the King will answer and say to them,
‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of

MATTHEW 25:40, 44 (NKJ)
This
is a letter to a child to the
mum. Dear mommy, I am in heaven now, sitting on Jesus’ lap. He loves
me and cries with me, for my heart has been broken. I so wanted to
be your little girl. I don’t quite understand what has happened. I
was so excited when I began realizing my existence. I was in a dark,
yet comfortable place. I saw I had fingers and toes. I was pretty
far along in my developing, yet not near ready to leave my
surroundings. I spent most time thinking or sleeping. Even from my
earliest days, I felt a special bonding between you and me.
Sometimes, I heard you crying and I
cried with you. Sometimes, you would yell or scream, then cry. I
heard daddy yelling back. I was sad and hoped you would be better
soon. I wondered why you cried so much. One day you cried almost all
the day. I hurt for you. I couldn’t imagine why you were so unhappy.
That same day, the most horrible things happened. A very mean
monster came into that warm, comfortable place I was in. I was so
scared, I began screaming, but you never once tried to help me.
Maybe you never heard me.
The monster got closer and closer as I was screaming and screaming,
“””Mommy, mommy, help me please! Mommy help me!” Complete terror is
all I felt. I screamed and screamed until I thought I couldn’t
anymore. Then the monster started ripping my arms off. It hurt so
bad, the pain I can never explain. It didn’t stop. Oh, I begged it
to stop. I screamed in horror as it ripped my leg off. Though I was
in such complete pain, I was dying. I knew I would never see your
face or hear you say how much you love me. I wanted to make all
tears go away. I had so many plans to make you happy. Now I
couldn’t. All my dreams were shattered. Though I was in utter pain
and horror, I felt the pain of my heart breaking, above all. I
wanted more than anything to be your daughter. No use now, for I was
dying a painful death. I could only imagine the terrible things that
they had done to you. I wanted to tell you that I love you before I
was gone, but I didn’t know the words you could understand. Soon, I
no longer had the breath to say them, I was dead.
I felt myself rising. I was being carried by a huge Angel into a big
beautiful place. I was still crying, but the physical pain was gone.
The Angel took me to Jesus and set me on His lap. He said He loves
me, and He was my Father. Then I was happy. I asked Him what the
thing was that killed me. He answered abortion. I am sorry, My
child, for I know how it feels. I don’t know what abortion is, I
guess that’s the name of the monster. I’m writing to say that I love
you and to tell you how much I wanted to be your little girl. I
tired very hard to live. I wanted to live. I had the will, but I
couldn’t, the monster was too powerful. It sucked my arms and legs
off and finally got all of me. It was impossible to live. I just
wanted you to know I tried to stay with you. I didn’t want to die.
Mommy, be careful of that monster
abortion, so it does not hurt you. I still love you. Bye and God
bless you. Your little daughter. Until we stop this, we will not
have peace. The Angels are submitting our case with the aborted
children to God day by day. To stop this, you will pray always with
motherless babies, less privileged children and orphans around the
world. Support them financially and pray for them. God is not
helping with our world because of this great monster--abortion.
My LORD JESUS,
please show Your people the error of their ways
and turn Your eyes from their iniquity and allow
Your Holy Angels to minister to them and
illuminate them with wisdom, understands, and
knowledge of You and Your Kingdom. I ask this
right now in your name, Emmanuel! Bless You and

if he thirsts, give

Do not be

ROMANS 12:20-21 (NKJ)
Our
enemy. We view our enemy as
one who tries to harm us, kill us, or steal from us. Time can be our
enemy when we are trying to finish a project. Distance can be our
enemy when we are trying to reach a far destination, having started
late. Sugar can be our enemy if we are diabetic. Sleep can be our
enemy when driving without much rest. Prescription drugs can be our
enemy if used improperly. Is this the enemy or is it an attack?
Some whites view blacks as the enemy; and vice versa. Some Russians
view Americans as the enemy. Some republicans view democrats as the
enemy. Who is really our real enemy? Muslims and Christians often
view one another as enemies. Many Christians have disdain for
Christians of other denominations. Some men view women as the enemy;
and some women feel the same way about men. Where does it all come
from? And how does it all end? Who does the Bible say is the real
enemy?
What would Jesus, our example, say about all this “enemy” stuff?
“You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall
love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I say to you, love your
enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you,
and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you.”
Matthew 5:43-44 (NKJ) Our real enemy, our real enemies are not
our fellow human beings, but the evil which was cast down to earth
from heaven. “And He said to them, ‘I saw
Satan fall like lightning from heaven.’” Luke 10:18 (NKJ)
People like to ignore, the earthly presence of demons and the like.
But we must realize they exist and they are the real enemies who we
must fight tenaciously. (Ephesians 6:12)
The rich wanting more is their attack from the enemy. For the
hungry, the lack of food is their attack. For the homeless, rain and
cold are their attacks. Being separated from the knowledge and the
Love of God and His Christ is the greatest of attacks. For us all,
the lack of someone who cares is our attack. We all need someone to
love us. We all need someone to love. There are many suffering
children in the world who can use your assistance now, not tomorrow
because tomorrow is not promised to any of us. We have to give every
child the opportunity to know Christ and to know that people do know
how to love and care for one another; and that their present
situation can be overcome through love. Recognize the real enemies
from whence the attacks come and your victory in Christ will take
root and be effective. OVERCOME EVIL WITH LOVE

Obey the Words of the LORD of Hosts in
your life today!
“Then the word of the LORD of hosts came to me saying, ‘Say
to all the people of the land, and to the priests: ‘When you fasted
and mourned in the fifth and seventh months during those
seventy years, did you really fast for Me—for Me? When you eat and
when you drink, do you not eat and drink for yourselves?
Should you not haveobeyed the words which the
LORD proclaimed through the former prophets when Jerusalem and the
cities around it were inhabited and prosperous, and the South and
the Lowland were inhabited?' Then the word of the LORD came
to Zechariah, saying, ‘Thus says the LORD of hosts:
Execute true justice, show mercy and compassion everyone to his
brother.’ ”
ZECHARIAH 7:4-9 (NKJ)
Things
that make our prayers not to
be answered. (Zechariah 7:1-10)
1. Injustice.
2. Mercilessness.
3. Oppression of the widows.
4. Oppression of the aliens.
5. Oppression of the poor.
6. Evil thoughts about each other.
Quick check up formula for your life:
1. Fortune: How is your relationship
with money or worldly things?
2. Gender: What is your attitude towards the opposite sex?
(Job 31:1)
3. Motive: Why are you serving the Lord? Why are you dressing as
you are dressing? Why are you doing what you are doing right
now? What is your motive?
Four dangerous things in prayer (which hinder our prayers).
May the Lord bless you and help you to wait for Him in prayer, even
if He seems to delay. He is faithful and just to answer our prayers.
Amen!

In the midst of a life crisis, know
that God is there.
Acknowledge His Presence for He will
help.
“Now it came to pass on a certain day, that he went into a ship
with his disciples: and he said unto them, Let
us go over unto the other side of the lake. And they launched
forth. But as they sailed, he fell asleep: and there came down a
storm of wind on the lake; and they were filled with water,
and were in jeopardy. And they came to him, and awoke him, and
saying, Master, master we perish. Then he arose, and rebuked the
wind and the raging of the water: and they ceased, and there was a
calm.”
LUKE 8:22-24 (KJV)
In
the midst of the storm.
(Luke 8:22-28) Their journey started well. Everything was going
fine with them. Like some of us, we got born again. A few days,
months, and years, and everything was going well with you, your
ministries and the Master Jesus. But certain times in your walk with
Him, it seems as if Jesus had fallen asleep in your life and
ministries. Things get bad and all of your connections have been
disconnected. You feel as though you have been left in the midst of
a storm. You even feel that it was a mistake in your decision to
follow Jesus on the other side of life.
Your ministry has become stagnant. Your sickness has become
unresolved. And everything seems to be inside outside and upside
down. You ask, Lord Jesus, don’t you care that I am perishing and
others are making progress in life and in their ministries. You know
very well Jesus, that we all started this journey together. Why have
you forgotten me? How is it that you have fallen asleep in my life
and ministries?
But I have come again to let you know that often in our lives we
will encounter storms, large and small, because there is something
good on the other side. And if you were not anointed for it, God
wouldn’t be taking us there. (2 Corinthians 10:13) Your
anointing becomes activated when the storm of life arise. (Psalm
46:1) Have you ever thought of Joseph? What about Daniel, and
not to talk about Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego. Have you asked of
God, His Presence when these guys were going through the storm of
life? God’s truly anointed servants never die in the battle for
life. (Genesis 28:15) Know that He will always use
relationships and crucial matters to know His truly anointed ones.
Do not give up, for those mighty and great men that made impact on
the world, like Abraham Lincoln; they went through the feelings that
you and I experience right now. When you experience a great storm
which tests your anointing, expect great blessings with which to
bless others. Get hold of this devotion and God will meet you at the
point of your need. The Lord bless you.
In the mighty name
of Christ Jesus, LORD, I ask that you will make
us the plain people we are to be, the heroes we
are to be, the spiritual warriors we are to be,
and the mighty children of GOD we are, and let
it begin today! Thank You Jesus and God bless you
all!
Amen!

Love is going the long way with someone
who needs to go that way,
when you know the short cut.
“Know therefore that the LORD thy God, he is God, the
faithful God,
which keepeth covenant and mercy with
them that love him
and keep his commandments to a
thousand generations;”
DEUTERONOMY 7:9 (KJV)
Feelings.
People like to trust their feelings. People often go with their
feelings (not their spirits) – go with their instincts (emotions) or
the way their hearts are leading them. People are often motivated to
action by their feelings. People get their spiritual hearts (God’s
Hearts in us) confused with their psychological and mental hearts
(emotions and feelings). If the choir sings great, sings a
heart-stirring song, people’s emotions/feelings become high and they
will give more offerings. If you feel “love” towards someone, you
will often go to the ends of the earth for them; at the least you
will do things for them that you would not normally do for another
person.
Those strong feelings are leading you,
not God, not Jesus (our example), not the Word of God. When we
“feel” “love” or we “feel” “in-love,” we often operate contrary to
how we operate towards others who we do not have those feelings for.
This is a barometer to know more often than not, we operate contrary
to true “love” or the Love of God towards others, even the ones we
feel “love” for or feel “in-Love” with.
I am here to tell you: “Do not trust your feelings.” They will
betray you. I am not saying: “Do not “love” or fall “in-love.” No,
not at all; by all means do. I am saying: Learn that love is more
than an increase in heartbeat, more than shortness of breath,
blurred vision, erratic nervous behavior, or a high level of
endorphins. That my dear is a physical anomaly of emotion/feelings,
which is often short-lived in many people’s lives and not
experienced by most.
Love is responsibility, being responsible when you don’t want to be.
Love is helping someone you do not know and have not seen. Love is
giving and doing for someone who you do not love or do not have
strong emotional feelings for or you have no feelings for at all,
but you have a Heart of God called Compassion. Love is going the
extra mile to do the right thing. Love is doing the “right” thing
for the “wrong” person. Love is tough. Love is saying no to drugs
and alcohol. Love is turning off the television.
Love is going to the abyss with a friend
and bringing them back. Love is talking. Love is listening. Love is
sharing. Love is caring. Love is holding on when you should have
(and anyone else in your shoes would have) let go a long time ago.
Love is knowing GOD is faithful to do what He has promised He would
do if we only believe, wait on Him, and trust the LORD.

Find a need, and fill it. Hope?—Help.

“Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake,

MATTHEW 5:10 (NKJ)
I
have a few more things to
share with you about our Gospel Outreach Ministry work. There are a
number of problems such as pastors to help, working bicycles for
them and so on. Gospel Outreach works in India. There are matters of
hunger, mockeries, poverty, and scarcity of resources. If any Hindu
in India plant a stone in any corner of any street or road, soon
people gather to worship the “idol god” and offer money and gold.
Soon there will be a fortified temple building and a priest.
The idol worshippers are living safe and sound in India. In this
way, Indians worship millions of gods and goddesses. Jesus Christ is
a foreign God for them and in India. He is the God of the lowest
community. For this reason, Christians have no honor in our society.
They are treated as untouchables. They are not allowed to live
together with the people of higher communities. Most of our fellow
Christians live in their huts on the outskirts of villages. We are
regular victims of nature calamities such as cyclones, floods, and
fire accidents, which take away lives and the shelters of people in
any number of villages. Consequently, there are orphans and widows.
In such a condition we are doing our gospel work in India.
Though there a number of Christian organizations in India, there are
still more than 10,000 un-reached villages. Our plan is to visit at
least 3 villages every day and cover 100 villages in a month. We
will be able to establish God’s kingdom in no less than 1,000
villages every year. If our Lord delays to come for one more decade,
we will be able to win all the 10,000 villages for Jesus. But it is
not possible for us unless we have a mighty hand like you.
We know that we are not alone in our hold on the Gospel outreach
mission of Jesus. (Matthew 28:19) We have an unquenched zeal
to reach every nook and corner and promote the Gospel to every
perishing soul. We know that our Redeemer is a living one and He
will put us neither to shame nor to failure. Your kind involvement
will surely enable us to reap a great deal of harvest in the coming
days, weeks, and months. Here our churches, our fellow pastors and
the orphan children are sending hearty greetings to you and all who
are cooperating with you in your work. I await prayerfully and
hopefully your kind and favorable reply; thanking you in His name.
Yours in His service.

“We then that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the
weak, and not to please ourselves.”
ROMANS 15:1 (KJV)
Do
not unknowingly cut off your
blessings. I pray the Lord Jesus allow us to see today the many
blessings in which we exist and live day in and day out. People
often pray for blessings and do not see them when they come or that
they are already there—a knowledge issue; because of poor
expectation, or no real expectation of receiving it—a faith issue.
Some people do not see their blessing when it comes, because they
expect it to look, act, feel, or be a certain way. But a blessing
doesn’t look the way we have perceived that it should look or be,
then it is rejected– a heart issue. Jesus the number one blessings
was rejected of men of old and by many people today.
Know this—it is better to give than receive. “I have shown you in
every way, by laboring like this, that you must support the weak.
And remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He said, ‘It
is more blessed to give than to receive.” Acts 20:35
(NKJ) This verse is key to a supernatural law. One the surface it
allows superficial return of those who use it. To get it
supernatural effect, you must ask with personal gain in your heart.
“Ye ask and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may
consume it upon your lusts.” James 4:3 (KJV) Your heart must be
set for giving when you ask; giving the allowed return (blessing) to
be to God’s glory. To bring it home it means you are only a conduit
of the blessing. We are vessels which receive the blessings, then
pour them out to others who are thirsty for the blessings for which
they have prayed; for which you thorough God (and His Son Jesus) is
the conduit. Once you give of your received blessings, you, the
vessel will be filled again and again as you repeat this “allowed”
process. Like the widow with the vessels of oil. (2 Kings 4)
When someone tries to bless you, learn to receive it. Therein lies
their blessings as well as yours. Do not allow pride to stop you
from receiving help from a stranger or a friend. Do not allow hate,
envy, difference, jealousy, or indifference stop you from being a
blessing to someone you do not know or someone you will never meet.
Be thankful for the unseen blessings, the unknown blessings,
blessings you are not thinking about – balance (you can stand),
remembrance (you know your mother’s phone number), understanding
(you know the sound of a bee), you have the ability to love.
Thank you God for allowing me to know and appreciate the little
things, so I don’t worry about the big things. I learn to look at
the little blessings and appreciate the knowledge that the larger
blessings are the smaller ones. Material blessings are not as
important as before; they are gifts to be shared. You are an
important link in the chain of life. You are walking in thousands of
God’s multiple blessings daily. What are you going to do with them?
The rest is up to you!

“WHOSOEVER believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and
every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is
begotten of him. By this we know that we love the children of God,
when we love God, and keep his commandments. For this is the love of
God that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not
grievous.”
1 JOHN 5:1-3 (KJV)
While
in the barber shop this week,
I observed a simple statement that spoke to my spirit with
thunderous measure. The barber was talking to his client. The barber
was explaining the nature of the love he has for his significant
other. At the defining moment of the conversation, he explained
“Man, I love that girl!” Poignant, true, only the client’s response
was “act like it!” The barber was almost speechless. During the
conversation, the barber did not convey the manner in which he
treats his lady friend. Nevertheless, he knew that the client’s
response was the correct answer.
As I listened, I began to realize that this “Act Like It!” mentality
should be applied to our relationship with God and His people. We
can tell God “I love you” fifty times in a day, but until we apply
action (obedience to His Word) to our words, those “I love yous”
remain powerless. The writer of 1 Corinthians explains the kingdom
of God is not in word, but in power. (1st Corinthians 4:20)
As believers, we must be examples of true love through our obedience
to Christ. If we sin against God we must allow a spirit of
repentance to abound in us. If we wrong our brother, friend, or
relative, we must go to them and attempt the option of peace. At the
same time, if we are offended by them, we should go to them and
apologize to them first! By doing these things we show God we love
Him.
We should put that second and third piece of pie or cake
back! We should leave work at the right time and go home or
to Bible study to study God’s Word, or go minister in the bereaved
neighborhoods, instead of trying to stay late to get man’s
promotion. Instead of buying that extra purse, suit, or pair of
shoes, we should give our money to someone who we know needs
it even if they could possibly squander the money! We should
drink water instead of that fourth or fifth cup of coffee. (God sees
you destroying your temple, slowly but surely.) Our lives are not
our own (1 Corinthians 6:19) We should illustrate our love
for God by discovering His perfect will. By doing these things we
show God we love Him.

Serving ourselves is not an option; our
service belongs to God.
“And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee,
and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to
whomsoever I will give it. If thou therefore wilt worship me, all
shall be thine. And Jesus answered and said unto him,
Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written,
Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.”
LUKE 4:6-8 (KJV)
The
only man we serve is Jesus
Christ, Emmanuel, “God with us.” The only God we serve is Jehovah,
El-Shaddai, God Almighty. Other gods we must not serve are church,
pastor, buildings, concepts, denominations, visions, angels, demons,
Buddha, Muhammad, relatives, the Bishop, the Pope, or the Vatican.
We tend to flock to the churches with the most beautiful edifices,
or the pastors with the greatest messages, or are impressed to
attend a church campus with the largest congregation and amenities.
In society, we look for solutions to problems from those who had
similar issues which were resolved. We look to making money from
those who have made it. We look for life’s answers from those who
look like they have solved life’s puzzles. We tend to follow the
teachings of Paul, David, Solomon, and Moses; looking to the
examples of Abraham, Ruth, King David, Solomon, Esther, Mordecai,
Paul, or John. The Old Testament model is for one man to stand
before the congregation (like pastors in the church today) and talk
to God for the people – communicate to God for the people. This
model has people believing their prayers are ineffective and are
often asking others (pastors, deacons) to pray for them. (I’m not
talking about James 5:14; elders pray for the sick.) Know we
have prayers like children of God Almighty.
The New Testament model is Jesus being that bridge between us and
God, while saying talk to God and to Me – in a deeply, personal,
intimate relationship where you and I can talk about any and
everything no matter how bad and twisted, in an environment of Love.
Ask yourself, can you do that today with anyone in your world,
except Jesus? You can talk to God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, and They
speak back to you – all day long (pray always (Luke 18:1; 21:36);
communication with the LORD). Bring everything to Them.
People often put more belief, energy, power in the mouth of Paul, in
the words of Paul. Jesus is our Messiah, not Paul, not the Bishop,
not the Pope, believe or not, not even Mother Mary. Paul was flesh
and blood, like we are; not our Redeemer, our Salvation, the Joy of
our lives, the Light of the world—that would be JESUS. Today and
everyday, let us not ignore the words of Christ Jesus. They may be
tough, but they are always true and bring peace.

Listening and Knowing “When” and
“What” to Speak.
“Wherefore my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear,
slow to speak, slow to wrath:”
JAMES 1:19 (KJV)
"But if any man be ignorant, let him be ignorant."
1 CORINTHIANS 14:38 (KJV)
Know
“when” and “what” to speak.
At various times in life we are presented with situations—work
related conversations, personal phone calls, or classroom
discussions—which call for a response. As a Christian, it is our
responsibility to give a “Holy” response in these situations.
However, it is also our responsibility as Christians to give the
right kind of response. Sometimes, there are issues that may seem
simple for us to understand, yet the person we are speaking with
just can’t seem to get it. As Christians, it is not our
responsibility to aggressively convey what we think the right answer
is or judge others for what they don’t know. In some situations, we
must simply be quiet. Listening sometimes is the only communication
needed. Oftentimes people just don’t understand and it is not our
responsibility to inform them.
Jesus is the answer! And there are many instances when a person must
meet Jesus before they can hear what you have to say. (ACTS 9:4-6;
Saul meets JESUS) Personally, sometimes I try to help people by
verbally explaining their problems while using the knowledge and
wisdom I’ve obtained from GOD. Yet, they sometimes disagree, or
refuse to listen to sound doctrine or correction (I’ve been this way
myself). In response, I’m forced to apply the love I’ve obtained
from GOD, which lets me know to leave that person alone until they
are ready to talk. When they are ready to apply Godly reasoning,
then we can talk. Until then I just disappear!
Also, everyone might “know” as much as you do. But you don’t hear a
10th grader tease a 3rd grader for not understanding algebra! The
10th grader doesn’t expect the 3rd grader to know algebra. We must
recognize our abilities GOD has given us and execute them with
meekness and humility. Remember, knowledge puffeth up, yet love
edifieth (1st CORINTHIANS 8:1). Just because you know a
couple of Bible verses, or hold a position in the church, that
doesn’t mean you have authority to ridicule someone because they
don’t know what you know. Without Love what you know is empty
anyway! (1st CORINTHIANS 13) Thus, with love we must be
patient with everyone, and be ready to listen and respond with
humility and meekness in our hearts and minds. Simply listening can
sometimes speak louder than our responses.
